I have become short sighted since I was 12 years old. That is to say, I have to see the world through two pieces of glasses. Because of that, I value my glasses very much. Every night before going to bed, I clean them carefully and put them gently in the glasses box. Besides, I am very particular about my glasses. The prescription glasses I am wearing must be fashionable in design, impressive in color and high in quality. What is more, I do not other people to judge on my glasses; to say nothing of trying on them.
The glasses I am wearing now were booked on the Internet. They are becoming more and more popular among college students. And I usually put them on my study desk in the dormitory when washing face in the morning.
This morning in the dormitory, all of my roommates hurry to the first class at 8 o’clock. Unexpectedly, Mary, a girl whose bed next to mine, knocks down my glasses and steps on them. My dear glasses turn to pieces on the ground.
“Oh! My glasses! How can I attend the class without my glasses?” I shouted in horror.
On the contrary, Mary is just as calm as usual. She picked my glasses and put them on my desk.
Then, she says: “I am so sorry for that. But, at this moment, we all hurry for class. I will make it for you later.”
I am sad at her words and make no response upon them. It is her who broke my glasses. I will never forgive her. But, I do not show my dissatisfactory.
That morning is the worst morning in my whole life. Without my glasses, I sit in the classroom. But, I cannot see anything on the blackboard. Therefore, I cannot figure out what my teacher is talking about. The physics class turns to total torture to me.
After that class, I make my mind of never talking to Mary. In class, I avoid sitting with her and always take the desk far away from her. And even in the dormitory, I do not say any words to Mary. I always put on my earphones and pretend to not hear her words to me. However, Mary seems does not make out that. She is just friendly to me as usual.
A week later, Mary gives me a pair of glasses and says “Sorry” to me again. And she says: “They are prescription glasses and were bought on www.cheapglasses123.com.” I am moved by her. I treasure her glasses although I have already got a new pair not long ago because her sincere heart teaches me a lot.
